The captain of the port of Pittsburgh advises beginning 7/16/2024 notice is given that commercial traffic using the Elizabeth Locks and dam will be restricted to a seven-foot, (7’) draft restriction. This restriction will remain in place until conditions permit the lifting of the restriction. Recreational traffic will now be allowed to lock through utilizing the RIVER Chamber only. Any Recreational Vessel that drafts over seven feet (7’) will not be able to lock through.
