The Safety Zones include all navigable waters of the Gulf of America within a 1,000 ft radius of position 29-51-54N 085-28-24W, and a moving Safety Zone 1,200 yards around vessels involved with relocating any UXO, from the point of discovery to the disposal location.  The Safety Zones will be enforced from 4:00 p.m., April 11, 2026, through 11:59 p.m., April 18, 2026.  These zones will remain in effect until the ordnance is cleared and or relocated to a disposal location.  No person may enter, transit through, or remain in the Safety Zone unless authorized by the COTP or a designated representative.  Coordination for vessel passing arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the on-scene patrol commander, who may be contacted on VHF-FM Channel 16.
