Inland River Vessel Movement Center (IRVMC)

The Inland River Vessel Movement Center (IRVMC) was formed in St. Louis, Missouri on April 16, 2003, to gather information and track barges loaded with certain dangerous cargoes along the Western Rivers system of the United States. Through this effort, the Coast Guard has been able to improve maritime domain awareness and increase security on over 10,300 miles of inland waterways.

The IRVMC is now located at the Coast Guard Navigation Center in Alexandria, Virginia.

You may use this site to gather general information regarding reporting requirements or to report a vessel movement.
