This termination does not affect U.S. participation in the Russian American or Canadian LORAN-C chains. GPS STATUS & OUTAGE INFORMATION

Information concerning maintenance outages, satellite launches and removals, and notices of changes to GPS operations are posted on this website and are distibuted by free subscription to our List Server. This information is generated by the Air Force 2nd Space Operations (2SOPs) as operators of the GPS system.

From our site, you may view or download the latest and archived GPS satellite information such as status messages, precise ephemeris data, and almanacs. Specific, operational GPS information may be obtained from the links below or from the links on blue navigation menu bar at the left.

GPS Support Center Performance Reports

The Air Force operates the GPS Support Center to support 2SOPs. As part of their operations, they compute predicted and observed GPS Performance Reports for the Earth, including Dilution of Precision (DOP) diagrams, with an enlarged map of the United States. These diagrams, along with information on how to interpret them are available at the GPS Operations Center Performance Reports page.
