REPORT A GPS PROBLEM

The Navigation Center appreciates your reports regarding service degradations, outages, or other incidents or anomalies. Please answer the questions below. Some fields are required for submission, but all personal data will be kept private and will only be used to contact you in the event that we need more information or if clarification is required. Please be as complete as possible when reporting an incident. Thank you!

Note about vehicle navigation systems: If you are having problems with information such as location names, addresses, closed highway exits or other mapping data, it is likely that your GPS's mapping software is outdated or obsolete. The Navigation Center does not develop, control, nor repair the mapping software or maps in your vehicle navigation system. We suggest you contact your car dealer or the manufacturer of your GPS unit or navigation system.

Mapping Data Errors: If you wish to report an incorrect address, report or request a change to the address for a business or home, or add an address, please submit your corrections to the Tele Atlas website.

If you are experiencing GPS issues relating to positioning, navigation, timing or signals please proceed to and fill out a GPS outage report starting with the form below.

Privacy Information: The privacy of our customers has always been of the most importance to the Navigation Center. The NAVCEN has a long history of protecting your privacy and our concern for your privacy is no different in the electronic age. Our Internet privacy policy is:

  • You do not have to give us personal information to visit our site.
  • We will collect personally identifiable information ( name, email address, telephone number) only if specifically and knowingly provided by you.
  • Information is collected for informational purposes only and it may be used to contact individuals for further information.
  • We do not disseminate any personal information to any party outside of the U.S. Government. We typically work with the U.S. Air Force (USAF), Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) when investigating signal outage and/or signal interference reports.
